Our History

The program began as Team Jaguar at Rocky Mountain Middle School in 2016, offering a small, innovative learning community focused on mastery and personalized education. As interest and success grew, it expanded into a district-wide school of choice in 2021 and took on the name Praxium Mastery Academy.

In 2023, the program evolved into an honors track school, continuing its commitment to mastery-based learning while providing advanced academic and enrichment opportunities for students.

Now known as Ammon Honors Academy, the school is expanding to include high school grades, beginning with 9th grade. In the near future, the program will move into the renovated Ammon Elementary campus, featuring new learning spaces, labs, and a cafeteria designed to support a dynamic 7–12 experience.

Bonneville School District 93 is proud of the growth and innovation that define Ammon Honors Academy, where students are empowered to learn, lead, and thrive for life.
